Keeping it up

It's been a while since my last post. There are so many things happened that got my feet stuck for the moment. But as they say time to pick yourself up and keep moving forward. I'm dusting off my mic now and I'm ready to voice out my thoughts. I mentioned on my previous post that I attended a seminar for three days followed by an exam so we can have our license as non-life insurance agent. I planned to take the exam the following day we finished the seminar. After the seminar we were given a certificate of completion. A token for our determination on becoming an agent.

I prepare for the exam that night. Reading through each manuals that was provided and the exams we took during our seminar. I literally woke up 2am for that and spent 4 hours reading and understanding the each subject. I was mentally ready for the exam and I blast off to Ayala exactly 6:30am. The exam will start at exactly 8am I make it in the building around 7:15am enough time for me to review.I re-read all the saved materials on my phone to prepare myself for the exam.I really hate it when someone tries to have a conversation with me and they see that it is crucial for both of us to just review since we are having an exam . Inspite of the serious look in my eyes as I google on my phone this incensitive guy approach me and started asking me stuffs.  Distracted by the conversation and I decided that yeah let's not review anymore and talk to each other instead. He being an old man, I give him the respect that he needed. I nodded on his every brag and empathize with his thoughts and feelings. We discuss about our previous job, what made us decide to be an agent, who are we voting for president, and what are your plans after you have your license. Questions that totally wasted my time.

A guy dressed in short sleeved barong walk by checking all the applicants requirements as its only 15mins before the exam starts. We then stop talking (finally!) and grab on our requirements.I then remember that I don't have a 1x1 picture yet, one of the requirements to bring before you can take the exam. What the f***! I was like ,"oh crap!" I have enough time yesterday to print out one but I forgot. I confronted him and state my situation.I told him that I can bring him the picture right after the exam and I point my finger down as I told him that there's a digiprint on the ground floor. He just told me like a recorder,"kelangan complete, kelangan complete." He declined my request. I even saw the digiprint stand with a "close" sign as if it's smiling back at me in a sarcastic way. I pull up a finger on it.

So I went home and pretend nothing happens. Pretend that I didn't woke up 2am in the morning to review. What a colossal waste of time.

The moral of the story is,"Opportunity is right there in front of you. You just got to have a 1x1 picture."
